Çelebi Ground Handling shared the pride of the achievements it has secured back to back in India at a gala night with the President Abdullah Gül, who was on a state visit to India, and the accompanying ministers.
Çelebi Ground Handling sponsored the gala night held on the last day of the Turkish President Abdullah Gül's state visit to India that took place from 07 to 12 February 2010. Organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), the state visit started in Delhi with the participation of businessmen already pursuing operations or planning to do business in this country, and came to a conclusion with the gala night held at Mumbai Taj Mahal Palace Hotel sponsored by ÇGH and attended by President Gül and his entourage. Having come to Mumbai after visiting Taj Mahal following their time in Delhi, President Gül, Minister of Transport Binali Yıldırım and Minister of Health Recep Akdağ and their spouses took part in the glamorous occasion, which was scene to local folk dances from various regions of India. Including major businessmen in India as well as the Turkish delegation, the guests received evil eye beads with elephant figures that blended the Turkish and Indian cultures as a gift from Çelebi.
