With six flights to İstanbul Atatürk Airport daily, Lufthansa expanded the scope of services obtained from ÇGH İstanbul Station, adding passenger services and ticketing to ramp services. ÇGH and Lufthansa directors celebrated the successful cooperation and partnership that date back to 1984 and constantly grow stronger at a dinner held on June 28. Attended by Oliver Widmann, Vice President of Lufthansa German Airlines, and Juergen Marske, Robert Karl, Thomas Reichwein, Karsten Wulf, Ralf Behrendt, Dirk Lorenzen and Sibel Kartal-Doğan, the dinner was hosted by a crowded group of top executives of Çelebi Ground Handling including Çelebi Holding Chairperson Can Çelebioğlu and Deputy Chairperson Canan Çelebioğlu. At the occasion, the directors of the two companies celebrated their collaboration in Turkey, Hungary and India that has been going on with great success, and particularly, the transfer of passenger services at Atatürk Airport. Spiced up with heated discussions on the World Cup, friendships were rekindled and the first-time visitors of İstanbul from amongst Lufthansa representatives expressed their admiration for the city. The handcraft painting Çelebi specially commissioned for Lufthansa VP secured the admiration of everyone. Within the frame of expanded scope of services to Lufthansa, Çelebi broadened its passenger services team and gave momentum to their training.
